Sue Layman Designs is open for Trolley Night on May 25!

May 24, 2018

The South Main Arts District in Downtown Memphis began hosting South Main Trolley Nights nearly two decades ago in 2000. The last Friday of every month, music fills the streets and stores, and art galleries and small businesses stay open late to celebrate the tradition, offering discounts, drinks and food specials to thank their patrons for shopping local.

As an active member in the South Main community for years, Sue is excited to participate in this month’s Trolley Night yet again on Friday, May 25. She will be unveiling her latest and greatest collection of oil-on-canvas paintings titled “Triumph of Favor.” And, to make it even sweeter, the trolleys will be making their first Trolley Night appearance since returning earlier this month!

Sue’s gallery, located at 125 E. G.E. Patterson, just east of South Main Street, will be open from 6-9 p.m., with her work available to view and purchase. Wine will be offered to those browsing the gallery as well.

To learn more about Sue and her work, please head on over to the Meet the Artist or Artwork pages of the website. She can’t wait to see you all at Trolley Night!
