Today we are forced to contend with the forces of light and darkness. What causes a person to desire one or the other has and always been a mystery. In my paintings these forces find harmony, rhythm and adventure. Each color is struggling for the most prominent position. Structure and imagination are derived from the interconnecting of the lines and shapes. Color is the purpose for the painting. Color causing the emotions to come forth and bring excitement for the viewer. Whatever the struggles are in the painting, the results is to be happiness, joy and excitement.
