Sue spreads holiday cheer
Hi, friends! Because the spirit of the holiday season is all about generosity and spreading joy, I hosted a painting giveaway in late 2019. Those interested in winning one of the three abstract oil paintings in the giveaway submitted a brief writeup sharing why they wanted the artwork. I was truly touched and amazed at all the great things that were expressed in the submissions. My heart was filled with gratitude for all that took time to participate during the busy holiday season.
After entries closed, three winners were selected by a blind panel of judges to ensure anonymity. It was a very difficult decision. The trio picked up the original artwork from my gallery, Sue Layman Designs, on Saturday, Dec. 14. I had so much fun gifting these oil-on-canvas and oil-on-paper works of art and meeting with the recipients.
